Antal chief joins student ‘Dragons’ Den’

Tony Goodwin, CEO of international recruitment firm, Antal, has thrown his weight behind a new ‘Dragons Den’ competition for university students.

The competition, which goes under the name of ‘Bright Ideas’ is designed to provide impetus to the entrepreneurial instinct in British undergraduates and is organised by the WestFocus initiative which encompasses universities such as Kingston, Brunel and Westminster.

“There’s a tremendous amount of entrepreneurial talent out there in the student population, says Goodwin. “Undergraduates know that, in hard economic times, in particular, their futures are in their own hands. I’m really please to be involved in the competition. I’m getting the opportunity to back some of the best new ideas in Britain and, if someone comes along with the next Google or Facebook I’ll be ready, cheque book in hand, to provide all the finance they need!”
